Who is LHK-noseascaping
I am Linda H* Kuiters
experimental printmaker and etcher with forays into photography and photopolymer etching.
I graduated as a theatre designer at the Academy Minerva in Groningen with Peter de Kimpe and Rieks Swarte as my teachers.
After my graduation I worked in Italy as a costume designer.
Back in the Netherlands I retrained as a shipbuilder and to this day I still partly work as a fairing engineer at Dekc Maritime.
But that is another story.
I work in my own studio at RESO, a creative workplace in Groningen.
Close to my current home in Delfzijl, also my birthplace, lies the dynamic Wadden Sea, the Ems and the Dollard.
Tidal areas where silt together with organic materials creates new land. The creation of new land in all its forms and colors is a source of inspiration for my art.
