Welcome
As an experimental printmaker and etcher, I am fascinated by the unique properties of silt, paper, and ink. I create unique prints using this silt and other organic materials that I find in the tidal areas of the Eems and the Dollard.
Who is LHK-no seascaping

I am Linda Kuiters, experimental etcher and printmaker with forays into photography and photopolymer etching.

I graduated as a theatre designer at the Academy Minerva with Peter de Kimpe and Rieks Swarte as my teachers.

In Italy I worked as a costume designer but back in the Netherlands I retrained as a shipbuilding engineer. But that is another story.

I work in Groningen and  I have my own studio at RESO  in Groningen.

I was born in Delfzijl and now I also live in Delfzijl.

Close to Delfzijl are the dynamics of the tidal areas with the silt, the water, the seaweed, the clay, the colours of the Groningen countryside whitch is a great inspiration for my  art.

I mainly work with silt and organic material that I collect from the tidal areas of the Eems and the Dollard.
